Spectrum's outpatient counseling programs serve adults and adolescents with chronic substance abuse and/or mental health issues, targeting the specific risk factors commonly associated with addiction and mental illness. Counselors begin by engaging the individual in order to build trust, acceptance and mutual respect. Active treatment is used to build the skills needed for recovery. Relapse prevention training, comprehensive aftercare planning and linkages to community resources help facilitate sustained recovery following discharge.

The Program Director is responsible clinically, financially, environmentally, and operationally for the site assigned. The Program Director is also responsible for supervising the implementation and delivery of clinical and case management services and integration of clinical services within the designated site. Also ensures that the outpatient treatment services are delivered in a manner that promotes customer service and excellence in service delivery as well as adherence to Spectrum's clinical design. Is responsible to ensure utilization of services and market potential are maximized. The Program Director works closely with all members of the team to ensure effective, efficient service and represents the organization in a positive, professional image.

This position is located at our Outpatient Treatment Program in Leominster, MA.

Requires the ability to be flexible with schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Business, Healthcare Administration, Behavioral Health or other related field preferred.
  • Licensed Independent Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience and/or experience in a similar management/counseling position preferred.
  • Experience working with DPH licensing requirements, CARF standards, MBHP regulations or other related requirements preferred.
  • Knowledge of outpatient and medication assisted treatment (MAT) preferred.
  • Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.
