Bright Futures is a youth-centered, family-focused residential substance abuse treatment program for adolescent males in Methuen, Massachusetts. The program teaches youth the skills necessary to maintain drug-free, pro-social lifestyles. Program participants follow a structured weekly schedule consisting of individual and family counseling, recovery-focused group meetings, life skills training, academic instruction and recreational activities.
The Nurse is responsible for providing general nursing care to all clients at the assigned facility. This position performs job activities adhering to medical standards in a compassionate and professional manner and the LPN/RN participates as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
Schedule is Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9:00am-11:00am.
- Valid MA LPN license from accredited school required.
- Must have current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.
- BA/BA degree preferred.
- Experience working with adolescent population also preferred.
